Leaky Gut Syndrome is not Generally Recognized By Conventional Medicine
While this condition still needs conclusive evidence to serve as proof that it does, in fact exist. Some of the theories about leaky gut syndrome postulate that it stems from the damage of the intestinal lining. The result of this is the lowered ability of the intestine to filter and process food properly.
It also allows the unprocessed waste to ‘leak’ into the blood stream. This action can lead to gastrointestinal, and autoimmune issues, which can manifest as, food sensitivity, bloating, cramps, joint pain, skin rash, or fatigue. Furthermore,it is speculated that some of the causes stem from chronic inflammation.
Some of the other sources for Leaky Gut Syndrome may be as follows,
- Consumption of large doses of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
- Cytotoxic Drugs
- Radition from cancer treatment
- Anitbiotics of a specific nature
- Alcohol consumption in excessive amounts
- A comprimized autoimmune system
